DL-PHENYLALANINE (DLPA): consists of equal parts of the D (synthetic) and natural L forms. Addition of the D component serves as an endorphin booster. Endorphins are natural pain relievers made in the brain. Increased endorphin levels promoted by DLPA have been associated with marked relief of chronically painful conditions, a strong mood elevating action, and pain relief that becomes more effective over time without having to increase the amount used.
L-LYSINE: Vital in the makeup of critical body proteins, lysine is needed for growth, tissue and repair, and production of antibodies, hormones, and enzymes.
